Walked from our hotel on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 7PM. Waited an hour in a line in a stairway before seating. We ordered a medium set (2600 JPY) and a small cutlet set with beer (2730 JPY). The beef was really tender and good, but it was thinly cut. We prefer thicker cut. We didn’t care for the extra 3 side dishes included in the set menu and wished there was an option in the menu to op out, but this restaurant didn’t have this option that the other branch in Coredo Muromachi has. Yes, the meat was really good, but not sure we would want to wait an hour next time.
This is hands down the best tonkatsu I ever had! The experience was also fantastic, and I enjoyed every bite here! I will be thinking about this place for years to come after coming back from visiting Tokyo. A must visit for anyone coming into town!
I really enjoyed my time here. I had the Beef Cutlet Set (1 cutlet), the beef was so tender. There were many side dishes included in the set. I really liked their Mountain Wasabi dipping sauce. I ordered one cutlet (130g) because I thought it would be enough and yes, it was! But honestly, my mouth still wanted more and more Excellent service & foods!
I ordered the small portion and found it to be just the right serving size. The concept is really unique and fun—you get to grill your own beef at the table! The beef itself was tender, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. A great experience for both the food and the atmosphere. There is no queue at 11am when I went to the ueno brunch.
Told us the wait was much longer but got us in so fast! The food was delicious seasoned well and presentation was beautiful. Would definitely come back! Everyone was very friendly and respectful. All around great meal
Really enjoyed the experience at this outlet cooking the beef cutlets, firstly the outlet itself is well ventilated with a cosy third floor, service was very efficient. We arrive around 5.30 and got a table around 20 mins with 5 pax in front of us. You do have to wait along the stairs though. Would say do come in early or prepare for long queues. We ordered the medium size and small size cutlet dishes, the side of the medium is around 50% more than the small. The beef was well textured with good marbling. Though after cooking the batter seems to break apart but it was a non issue. Overall it was a great family experience and great food, cooking the pieces where not too complex for young kids. Would recommend visiting
This is a very popular beef restaurant. We queued for about 1 hour before being ushered to our table. Despite the long wait, it was worth it, as the food is very good. The beef cutlet was delicious. Good service too. Highly recommended!
Insanely sooo good. Really worth the wait. The meat was tasty, juicy, tender, superr yummy. Place is quite compact, so need more than 1 hour to wait. But it's definitely worth the wait. Prices are reasonable. They have many branches around Japan, so youneed to give it a try!
